My Story

I am a Reiki Master Practitioner and Teacher, and a member of the International Association of Reiki Professionals (IARP).  I have my Masters degree in Business Administration from Baker College. I have been working for over 20 years in Corporate Healthcare.  I understand the stress associated with this type of working atmosphere. Dealing with my own health issues, stress and depression over the years I always found relief from seeing a Reiki Practitioner. When I was laid off from my employment it gave me the perfect opportunity to regain my health and to take the steps needed to pursue my dream of helping others through Reiki Healing.

My Approach

Most Reiki sessions do not follow a set structure. If my client has something specific they would like to work on they are welcome to tell me so. Otherwise, I have the client get comfortable on the Reiki Table. The person is fully clothed and lays on the heated table under a blanket. I have meditative music and I also use eye pillows to help my clients relax and enjoy their time.  I say a prayer for gratitude for allowing the energy to flow through me to the client. I prepare for the Reiki session. I will either lightly touch the client or hover above them in different areas of their body. The client may feel warm spots, an energy vibration or not much at all. Each person feels differently. When we have finished our time I will close out the session. You should feel relaxed, peaceful and ready for whatever your day or night brings.
